2012 1st Musical Workshop

Date: Monday, 26.3.2012, 18:15
Place: Aldgate Union Building (E1 8DX) – Basement Floor (B2)

Workshop provider: Chris Cuming

As we did last year, in our Les Miserables workshop, which was a huge success, this workshop also will be ran by an experienced guest director, Chris Cuming. Chris is an accomplished director and choreographer who has directed a number of musicals, including Hello Dolly!, Little Women and Tick, Tick… Boom!.

We asked Chris to devise for us an evening where we would pick a fun company musical scene and in one session we will set the scene from start to finish and ‘perform’ what we have learnt at the end of the session. It will involve acting, singing and a bit of dancing too, all pretty easy and fun for a novice/beginner.

The scene we picked is from a very famous 60’s style musical – so if you are in the mood do bring an article of clothing suitable for the early 60’s (Think Hairspray, not Hair!).

This is a great chance for you to get together with likeminded theatre enthusiasts and consider joining our Company as a member. Absolutely no prior experience required, and anyone can join in. Please note there are limited spaces for this workshop!
