The Network Theatre, 7-10 December 2011

A Comedy by John Godber
By arrangement with Samuel French

Set as a play in a play, Teechers is a hilarious comedy about a group of school-leavers, led by Salty, Gail and Hobby, who tell the sometimes moving story of their final year at Whitewall High. Nixon is their new drama teacher and the best thing that ever happened to Whitewall, however, the temptation of a better life at the posh school across town sheds doubt on his future. With fights, crushes, bunking off and, of course, the end of school disco, John Godber’s acclaimed tribute to 80′s school life is fast moving, inventive and highly entertaining.
